Where It All Began
At The PharmPet Co, we believe that pets and their owners deserve affordable medicines and treatments that can be accessed at the click of a button.
The PharmPet Co was established in 2019 by brothers Neil and Phil Younger, and their father, Keith.
We’re on a mission to bring our 60 years’ of pharmaceutical experience to pet owners who want veterinary-standard medication at their fingertips.
We were inspired by our father’s career as a pharmacist to explore our own pharmaceutical paths - before coming back together in 2019 to found The PharmPet Co. Now, we’re pooling our expertise to offer pet owners an alternative to expensive veterinary medicine without compromising on quality.
From long summer walks with the dog, to cold winter nights in front of the fire with our cats, as pet owners, we understand the joy and love that our furry friends bring, and how important they are.
We also understand the potential stress, costs and difficulty that an animal owner can experience when our beloved companion and family member needs urgent or regular medication.
It’s from this passion and understanding that The PharmPet Co was founded, allowing us as qualified Pharmacists to use all of our experience and expertise to not only improve the wellbeing of animals, but also support their owners and families.
We’re here to help provide your pet with a happy and healthy life, whilst saving you time and money. From prescription medication, wormers and flea tablets to pet treats and toys, we offer a wide range of products, all of which can be purchased securely on our website.
All of our medicinal products are UK licensed and have been sourced either directly from the manufacturer or from a licensed UK wholesaler, just like your vet.
Meet the team
Phil Younger MPharm
“I started my career with Boots UK in 1999, before completing my Masters degree in Pharmacy in 2007. I worked my way up from health care assistant to pharmacist store manager and eventually took up a role in the support office, working in retail operations. After a brief move, I got back to my pharmaceutical roots in 2018 before co-founding The PharmPet Co.
“Pets are a big part of our family so we have long wanted to put our skills to use to help animals. Pharmacy is all about accessible healthcare and we want to create something that provides animal owners with a choice when looking for support with the health and wellbeing of their animal.”

“My pharmacy career also began at Boots UK. In 2000, I joined the team as a Pharmacy Undergraduate and was awarded a Masters degree in Pharmacy in 2004. After becoming a qualified pharmacist, I worked in a variety of in-store, field leadership and support office roles at Boots.
“I’ve led a number of transformative and innovative projects within Pharmacy, which has culminated in co-founding The PharmPet Co.
“I was inspired to get into pharmacy having seen our father enjoy a fulfilling career, providing care and support to those that needed it the most. I love that our qualifications, experience and passion for animals enables us to provide affordable care for pets across the UK.”
Keith Younger BPharm
“It seems that I set the trend for Youngers working in Pharmacy! After completing my Pharmacy degree at the University of Nottingham in 1974, I joined Boots UK as a pre-registration student and became a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 1975.
“I’ve enjoyed a varied career, from Clinical Pharmacy roles to leading Logistics Development Programmes and finally, Director of Supply. I’m passionate about Pharmacy and I’m looking forward to putting my knowledge to helping pet owners take the best care possible of their beloved furry friends.”

We became pharmacists out of a passion to help people, and now we hope to help both people and pets here at The PharmPet Co.
