Apoquel is a veterinary medicine that contains the active substance oclacitinib. Apoquel chewable tablets are available in three different strengths (3.5 rmg, 5.4 mg and 16 mg) to cover a range of dog weights.

Apoquel Chewable is prescribed to treat itching and inflammation in dogs caused by allergic dermatitis and atopic dermatitis. It provides rapid relief and helps manage chronic skin conditions.
Apoquel typically begins to reduce itching within 4 hours, with noticeable improvements in your dog’s comfort and skin condition within 24 hours of the first dose.
Apoquel specifically targets the proteins involved in the itch and allergic response, with minimal impact on the rest of your dog’s immune function when used as directed by your vet.
Not all dogs are suitable candidates for Apoquel. It’s not recommended for dogs under 12 months old, breeding or pregnant dogs, or those with serious infections. Dogs with pork allergies or on food trials should also avoid the chewable form due to its flavouring; always consult your vet.
Yes, Apoquel is a prescription-only medication. You’ll need to upload a valid prescription from your vet before we can dispense and ship your order.
Apoquel Chewable Tablets are given orally and are designed to be palatable, making them easy to administer. You can give the tablet directly by hand or mixed with a small amount of food if needed. Always follow the dosage and instructions provided by your vet.
Yes, Apoquel Chewable Tablets can be given with or without food. Their effectiveness is not affected by meals, so you can choose whichever method works best for your dog’s routine and preference.
