How quickly does Isathal work?

Isathal is a sustained release formulation that ensures prolonged retention within the conjunctival sac providing inhibitory levels of Fusidic Acid against sensitive organisms. If no improvement is seen after 5 days treatment then it is recommended to get a further assessment carried by the veterinary surgeon.

How long should I use fusidic acid eye drops?

The length of treatment will be determined by the veterinary surgeon following a clinical assessment. If no improvement is seen after 5 days of treatment then it is recommended to get a further assessment carried out by the veterinary surgeon.

Which antibiotic eye drops are safe for dogs?

There are a wide range of prescription only antibiotic eye drops licensed for use in dogs. If required your veterinary surgeon will determine which one is most suitable for your dog depending on the type of bacteria causing the infection.
