Full Item Description

Loxicom Oral Suspension for Cats

Loxicom is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) designed to relieve pain and reduce inflammation in cats. Vets commonly prescribe Loxicom to manage various conditions causing pain or discomfort.

How Does Loxicom Work?

The active ingredient in Loxicom is meloxicam, which inhibits an enzyme called cyclooxygenase. This enzyme is responsible for the production of prostaglandins—substances that trigger pain, inflammation, and fever. By blocking this enzyme, Loxicom helps to alleviate these symptoms.

Prescription Requirement

Loxicom is a prescription medication, and it is crucial to follow your veterinarian's instructions regarding its administration. We require a valid pet prescription to distribute this product.

Administration

Loxicom comes in an easy-to-administer liquid form. Your veterinarian will specify the appropriate dose for your cat based on their weight and condition. Always follow their guidance closely to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the treatment.

Bottle Sizes

We offer Loxicom Oral Solution for cats in the following bottle sizes:

  • 5 ML
  • 15 ML

Storage

Store Loxicom oral suspension at room temperature, away from excessive moisture or heat. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Loxicom oral suspension is a vital resource for improving the well-being of your feline friend. It effectively alleviates pain and reduces inflammation, offering relief from conditions like osteoarthritis. By working together with your vet, you can help ensure your cat enjoys a happier, more comfortable life.
