How to order prescription medication
Certain products are classified as Prescription Only Medicines. For these products we require a legally valid veterinary prescription prior to dispensing and dispatching.
You can do this in three easy steps:
1. Request a prescription from your vet.
2. Add you prescription product(s) to your basket
3. Upload* or send your prescription to us as part of the checkout process.
* For some medication (eg Controlled Drugs) we need to be in receipt of the original valid prescription prior to dispatch, and so we will require you to post the original prescription to us. The website will inform you if this is the case.

What is Peptizole used for in horses?
In horses, Peptizole can aid in the treatment and prevention of stomach ulcers. Omeprazole, the active ingredient, lessens the stomach's production of gastric acid.
Follow your veterinarian's instructions carefully. They will determine the correct dosage for your horse based on weight, age, and medical history.
How do you administer Peptizole?
This medication must be taken without mixing it with feed and must go straight into the mouth. In order to maximise the effects of the medication, it is also recommended to stop feeding 30 minutes before and after delivering Peptizole.

We aim to dispatch orders within 1 to 2 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

Orders placed with Royal Mail Tracked 48 will aim to be delivered within 3 – 5 days of dispatch
Orders placed with Royal Mail Tracked 24 will aim to be delivered within 1 – 2 days of dispatch
Orders placed with Courier Delivery (Signed for) will aim to be delivered the next working day after dispatch

It is important that you are available on the day to sign for and receive the medication. If you are not available to receive the delivery, please contact us to discuss your options. Due to the storage requirements of these products we will not be able to leave these orders in a safe place or with a neighbour.
*Some products can only be delivered via courier e.g. orders over 2kg, fridge lines, high risk medication and controlled drugs. For these lines there is a chargeable courier fee and a signature will be required on delivery.
**For any orders that require a courier delivery to the UK Highlands an additional charge will be included during the checkout process.
***We regret that we are unable to deliver refrigerated products to the UK Highlands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.
