This diet improves microbial balance, stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria, and provides short-chain fatty acids for the enterocytes. It includes added prebiotics (purified inulin) and increased levels of soluble fibre compared to other products in the PURINA® PRO PLAN® VETERINARY DIETS range. The formulation helps manage colitis associated with a compromised mucosa and inflammation through the use of soluble fibres and omega-3 fatty acids. It promotes good faecal quality thanks to a balance of soluble and insoluble fibres, ensuring good patient compliance with its high palatability. The low fat content helps minimise fat maldigestion, while the inclusion of Medium Chain Fatty Acids (MCFAs) from coconut oil aids in easy gut digestion and absorption. The low residue formulation features highly digestible ingredients to promote high nutrient absorption and reduce the workload on the compromised gut.

When will my order be dispatched?
We aim to dispatch orders within 1 to 2 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email from us with an order number.
In the event of an item being out of stock, we will contact you with the expected delivery time.

Orders placed with Royal Mail Tracked 48 will aim to be delivered within 3 – 5 days of dispatch
Orders placed with Royal Mail Tracked 24 will aim to be delivered within 1 – 2 days of dispatch
Orders placed with Courier Delivery (Signed for) will aim to be delivered the next working day after dispatch

It is important that you are available on the day to sign for and receive the medication. If you are not available to receive the delivery, please contact us to discuss your options. Due to the storage requirements of these products we will not be able to leave these orders in a safe place or with a neighbour.
*Some products can only be delivered via courier e.g. orders over 2kg, fridge lines, high risk medication and controlled drugs. For these lines there is a chargeable courier fee and a signature will be required on delivery.
**For any orders that require a courier delivery to the UK Highlands an additional charge will be included during the checkout process.
